After the parade my roommate Megan and I grabbed lunch and headed home to get ready for our busy night! A family I nanny for had a family member getting married and had asked if we would come and help out to get the kids down the aisle and watch them in a separate room. So we headed out to Oxon Hill Manor in Oxon Hill, MD and it was the most beautiful place and the weather was exceptional. Anyways, we were there from about 4:30pm til 11:30pm. The kids were absolutely adorable. We pretty much watched movies all night but here are a few pics from our night!

Busy Saturday

So today was a busy day! Woke up at 7 am after working until 12:30am the night before. Headed down to the National Mall and met up with our group to get ready for the parade. A group of us were asked by our friend Charese if we wanted to be in the parade and represent Target. So we met there around 8:15 and got ready in our Target kimonos. We had to wear bright red lipstick and if you know me .... I don't do lipstick... .let alone BRIGHT RED! It was so much fun. Here is a little slideshow from the morning. 3 Things I Loved About My Cruise

Manzanillo, Mexico.......It was beautiful and so dang HOT! The only place I went swimming!
The unlimited frozen yogurt.... Swirl of course. It was so delicious! Somedays I had 4 frozen yogurt cones!


So... I am still having trouble getting all my pictures organized into a slide show. Shelley just sent me her pics and hopefully in the next couple days i'll have it up. Until then.......here are a few things i loved!

Happy Birthday to my Sweet Jack

So.... b/c I am such a great aunt.... this is a day late! But... he's 3 and doesn't know the difference. Happy Birthday to my sweet nephew Jack who turns the big 3 today. I hope you had a wonderful birthday ! I can't wait til I get to see you all the time! I love you Bubba!

Vacation is Over.... Back to Work

So.... I just got back a few days ago from a great little trip. I had the opportunity to go on an 8 day cruise to Mexico with Shelley, my mom, and some good friends. The weather couldn't have been any better. We stopped first in Acapulco where we got to see these amazing cliff divers and walk through town a bit. Then the next day we docked in Ixtapa/Zihuatanejo and spent the day on the beach. Our last stop was probably my favorite and it was Manzanillo. We took a taxi to a little resort and layed out overlooking the amazing beaches. It reminded me of Greece with all the white buildings. We spent several days at sea as well and were able to return with quite the tans. Sadly enough.... mine is peeling off very quickly. Guess putting oil all over you on the last day isn't such a good idea b/c I am already peeling like a lizard and i've been home 3 days. It was an amazing trip. I don't have pics to put up yet but as soon as Shells sends me all the pics I will post a little slide show. Hope you are doing well. Lots of changes happening in my life so I will be posting lots soon! peace out
