Great Weekend

Friday: Picked up my brother Brandon from the airport and we went to dinner. My sister met up with us at Oregano's to pick him up b/c he was sleeping at her house.
Saturday was such a great day! I got up early and did my run! Then called my friend Shelley and asked her to join me at Nordstrom Rack. So we shopped a little. Went back to my apartment and layed out in the sun for a while. Then we got ready real quick and headed to my sisters. We babysat the kids that night so my sister and brother could go to the ASU vs Georgia game. Shelley and I took the boys and ran errands. Then went to dinner at Costa Vida. When we pulled into the parking lot they had a fenced area with snow in it. The boys have never played in snow and had so much fun! We were making snowballs and sliding all over the place. After that we headed to pick up my niece Elle from her friends and we went to Ice Cream. Then it was home for bed. Fun to see my brother a little. He had to leave early Sunday morning.
Sunday: Great day at church and then to my sisters for the afternoon. Great dinner (ha ha) and dessert. Updated my IPOD shuffle with some new tunes and hung out for the night.

Great relaxing weekend for sure. : )

HELP!

i want the picture behind "Just Cassie" to be my new picture. Does anyone know how to fix it so it fits in the window? Or do i need to just change the pic? Help me please.

Mamma Mia

Shelley, Carly, and I went and saw this movie last weekend and I actually really liked it. Today I went to my sister's and she has the soundtrack. She put it on and I am now even more in love with it. My niece knew all the words and even my nephew Jack had a favorite song. So Shelley, Brannigan, and I danced around with the kids to it while we made dinner. Plus my mom has always loved "Abba" so I knew a lot of the songs already.

New Running Shoes......Amazing!

So lately I've been running a lot. I got new running shoes about a year ago. They were Mizunos and I love them. Last Saturday I woke up and my knee hurt so bad. Plus that whole week my body was tired and my legs ached. So when I woke up Saturday morning it was pretty obvious I needed to spend the money and get new shoes. So I found an amazing running store in Phoenix and the guy helped me decide to try out Saucony's this time. It is amazing what a new pair of running shoes will do for you. Who knew that running in a pair of shoes past the 400 miles or so would have such an effect on your body. It is amazing to run in new shoes!

What Have I Been Up To?

Shells, Brannigan, Heather, and I headed down to Mill Avenue in Tempe and found the best pizza place Saturday night....La Bocca.

A few weeks ago I babysat Elle and Jack while Car took Cooper to the ASU game. So naturally Aunt Cassie took them for ice cream. Delicious ( I look sick in this picture though... so ignore me)
Brannie and I went to the gym at our apartment building one night and when we went to leave we realized the monsoon outside and ran as fast as we could back. The sidewalks were covered in water and needless to say we were soaked.
I went to Shelley's house the other night to go running with her and her roommate Andrea and we planned on 5 miles. As soon as we were a 1/2 mile in it started to rain and got progressively worse. So our 5 miles were more like 15 minutes. Soaked again!


Well... I have pretty much been horrible at updating my blog lately. Seems I don't have that exciting of a life lately. So... just a few pics and things i've been up to. Soon I will have more exciting things to post... until then....Enjoy! : )
