Protein Shake.... Delicious

I was reading someones blog and they said they love :

a handful of spinach
1 banana
4 frozen strawberries
water

blended together

So I tried it and loved it and decided to add my own twist to it. I decided to make mine a protein shake for after the gym so.....

handfuls of spinach
1/2 banana
mixed berries ( raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, strawberries)
water
1 scoop whey protein
flax seed

Blend it up and you have a delicious protein shake full of good things for your body!

Seriously.......... Adorable!

This little girl has her moments but I have to say Miss Helga melts my heart daily!

Celebration of April Birthdays

The Trip Home From Mexico.....

After loading up to start our drive home we stopped to get gas, ice cream, and use the restroom. After getting back on the road this happened to 2 tires.....

To make a long story short.... jack wasn't working, it was getting dark, the battery died, a little hitchhiking to town, etc. We got a hotel in Rocky Point, Mexico for the night. Had the car towed to the hotel and got it fixed in the morning. Then spent a few more hours laying in the sun at the hotel, facing the beautiful ocean .

Last weekend i had the chance to drive down to Mexico with some good friends. It was so much fun to get away for a few days and enjoy the beach. The weekend involved sleeping, eating, watching movies, laying on the beach, 4 wheeling, nice run along the beach, intense games of Ultimate Spoons, lots of ice chip eating, and more eating.
