Relief Society Teacher...... Really???

So I got a new calling at church this weekend and I am extremely nervous...... Relief Society Teacher! Everyone keeps telling me I will be so great but little do they know I have an insane phobia of public speaking. I suck at it. I get butterflies , my voice shakes when I start to speak, I sweat profusely, no matter how prepared i am the second I stand up every thought is gone.

However I know that with this calling I will learn so much. That I will spiritually gain so much and for that I am grateful and will lovingly accept the calling and overcome my fear. I love my ward and love the sisters who I will teach.

Thankfully it's only once a month.... I think I can handle it! : )

Wow that is so funny. I am the Relief Society Teacher in my ward too. What week do you teach? I have only taught one lesson and it was SO much fun. I cant wait until my next lesson in a couple weeks. I do have some advice just make sure you prepare everything for the lesson with Heavenly Fathers help and you will be fine. It really is a great calling to have. Let me know if you need any help. Love ya

Cassie, you will do great. I am a teacher also (I only teach every other month). If I can do it anybody can. Just remember that the sisters all have something to say. I remember the first time I taught. After all the comments from the sisters, I ran out of time and hadn't even gotten through half my lesson.
