School

Ive been out of school for way too long
just getting it all together to attend in the fall is
a huge pain......

* finding transcripts
*figuring out the pre-reqs I need
*registering for classes around my work schedule
(im really not going to have a life)
* having to decide on my major
* getting financial aid figured out
etc etc etc

But ... I couldn't be more excited
and...it's about time I go for it

The Life of Christ

This past Sunday I taught Relief Society on The Life of Christ. What an amazing opportunity. One thing I love about teaching is how much I learn and how much it challenges me to continue learning. I am so grateful for the Perfect Life he led. That he lived that perfect life to accomplish what he came here to do... Atone for our Sins. To submit to the will of the Father. The Atonement has had a whole new meaning to me in my life as I slowly learn about it and its cleansing and healing power. It can heal so many things in our lives if we will allow it. He taught us how to love and to serve. He was accepting of everyone despite their sins. He forgave those who crucified him , " Father, forgive them for they know not what they do" . There is so much to be learned from our Savior and his life. After studying and preparing for the lesson I realized I needed to make studying the Bible... the old testament and the new testament a priority along with The Book of Mormon. There is so much in there on the prophesying of Christ and of his Life. I hope that as I study the Bible and more of my Savior I will develop an even greater love and appreciation for him and what he was sent here to do. I found this video " Reflections of Christ" and knew I needed to end my lesson with it. It is a video slideshow of his life and ministry. It is set to the tune of "Come Thy Fount" which has become my new favorite hymn. I am grateful for my calling and for the opportunity I have to teach the amazing sisters in my ward. There comments have touched my heart as they testify of their Savior. I love my Savior and am inspired to be more like him in all that I do.

a week or 2 ago my friend Randa and I spent 3 + hours on the town
with our cruisers
we rode from Randa's house in Scottsdale
hit In N Out for dinner
then rode all around Tempe Town Lake
the weather here couldn't be more perfect
for a long ride

My Birthday Celebration

some good friends and I try to get together every other week or so for dinner.
a few days before my bday Camila hosted us all for "Indian Food Night"
and when I showed up they had flowers and a huge cupcake for me.

Then a week later Camila had a little housewarming party
and again they had a little celebration for my bday.

i am a lucky girl to be surrounded by so many amazing girls
they always know the right thing to say to me and listen
to me ( which has been alot the last month)
I Love You Ladies

Your Heavenly Father loves you and does hear your prayers! There are times (and will be many other times) when He does not answer your prayers the way you want him to. There will be times when He answers no. There will be joyous times when He answers your prayer quickly and answers yes. There are times when He will have you wait for an answer and it will seem like He never will. I promise you, He will answer! Whatever our situation, we need to have faith. He knows what is best for each of us. There is a plan for each of us, He will guide the way. I know someday we WILL understand why we go through the trials we do and we will be rewarded for perservering with faith in His Son, Jesus Christ.

I workout at LA Fitness. The gym I go to everyday is right by my work. It was closed for renovation last week and today when I walked in I felt like a kid in a candy store. ALL new machines . They expanded the 1st floor and added a ton of cardio machines downstairs. All sorts of new machines. The best part is that each machine has a tv with an iPod adaptor. I couldn't wait to get on the treadmill... I actually ran for a long time. I couldn't help but smile with the new set up! Even now I'm smiling thinking about it!
